HR Administrator – Manufacturing Environment Location: [Bradford] Salary: [£25k to £30k DOE] Hours: [ Full Time Monday to Friday] Role Overview: We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our HR function within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This is a key role in ensuring seamless HR processes across the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, training, and compliance. You'll play a vital part in maintaining accurate HR data, supporting employee engagement, and helping the team deliver a first-class HR service. Key Responsibilities: HR Administration & Compliance * Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure all documentation is compliant with legal and internal standards (e.g., GDPR, RTW checks). * Prepare contracts, offer letters, and onboarding paperwork. * Support compliance processes, audits, and health & safety training records. Recruitment & Onboarding * Coordinate recruitment activity: job postings, interview scheduling, and agency liaison. * Support smooth onboarding and induction processes, including welcome packs, system access, and tracking probation reviews. Payroll & HR Systems * Accurately input and maintain data related to new starters, leavers, and employee changes. * Liaise with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing. * Maintain HR systems including absence, holiday, and training trackers. Employee Relations & Communications * Support documentation for employee relations cases, including note-taking for disciplinary and grievance meetings. * Be the first point of contact for general HR queries from staff and line managers. * Contribute to internal HR communications and employee engagement initiatives. Learning & Development * Coordinate training bookings and maintain accurate training records. * Ensure training compliance for operational roles such as forklift operation and H&S certifications. Qualifications & Experience * CIPD Level 3 qualified (or currently studying towards it) is desirable. * Prior experience in an HR admin/coordinator role. * Exposure to a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment preferred. * Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
