Mobile non-working Site Manager covering multiple projects in Bromford following an FRA report. Scope of works includes fire door maintenance and new door installs, fire stopping works, and roof compartmentation in social housing properties.
Responsibilities:
1. Approximately 2 days per week in the Birmingham office working alongside the Assistant Contracts Manager, and 3 days per week on-site overseeing operatives and ensuring quality control of FRA work.
2. Coordinate with TLOs for access to occupied properties.
3. Supervise subcontractors and direct teams of varying sizes.
4. Assist Contracts Manager and Assistant Contracts Manager with hiring and onboarding additional labor to support project delivery.
What's on offer?
* Temp-to-perm self-employed contract with the option for a permanent PAYE contract after 12 weeks.
* GBP 240/day during the temporary period.
* GBP 40,000 to GBP 45,000 per year for the permanent PAYE contract.
Candidate requirements:
* Passive Fire trade background, preferably in fire door installs/remedials (essential).
* Experience working in occupied social housing properties (essential).
* Supervisory/Site Management experience + SSSTS/SMSTS (essential).
* FIRAS/BM TRADA experience desired but not essential; training can be provided post-hire.
* ASFP Foundation / Level 2 (desired, can be provided post-hire).
* Basic DBS (essential).
* Certificates in Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, and face-fit testing are essential and can be provided if the candidate does not already hold them.
