The ideal candidate can communicate effectively, support the team, and juggle changing priorities, including sub-con quotes, FAIR completion, and audits. They will join a team of 2 skilled inspectors to manage. A specialist manufacturer of high precision metallic and PTFE machine components for the global Aerospace sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager on a 4-day working week, reporting into the General Manager. The candidate must be experienced in the aerospace sector and will be responsible for management, maintenance, and monitoring of Quality Management Systems. They will have line-management responsibility for the Inspection team, act as the company’s management representative in all quality matters, and run the inspection and test departments. The Quality Manager must be confident working to ISO 9100 / AS9100 standards and able to create/approve FAIRs.
