Location
Bristol or Basingstoke office, Site based around Chippenham, Royal Wootton Basset, Newbury and surrounding areas. Typical working hours Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.

An outline of your responsibilities as a Site Manager
* Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet contract requirements.
* Recruit and organise site personnel teams, including subcontractors.
* Collate all pre‑construction information (packs, asbestos surveys, etc.).
* Ensure all necessary contract documentation and reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
* Identify site hazards and ensure risk assessments and control methods are implemented during the construction phase.
* Ensure all sites comply with legal and statutory requirements, including Health, Safety and Welfare.
* Assist in preparing estimates, bids and tenders in partnership with the Contracts Manager.
* Create, manage and report on projects with multiple live site locations via a master programme.
About You
You will ideally have strong experience in planned refurbishment works and some knowledge of retrofit in social housing/tenanted properties. A good working knowledge of internal and external works – including solar, insulation, ventilation and window/door installations – is desirable. Experience managing delivery through completion and handover, understanding complex documentation and evidence collating to tight deadlines, and managing a small portfolio of sites is required. Commercial awareness ensuring costs meet budget requirements, and great communication skills to build relationships with clients and tenants are essential.
You must hold a full UK driving licence to travel to sites daily, and must hold SMSTS (or equivalent NVQ), 3‑day First Aid, and be confident with IT and proficient in MS Office. The role also requires a DBS check.
