Department overview Delivering a customer focused HR service to all employees, whether in-person, via email or online. Providing an administration, system and reporting service to the HR Team to enable the delivery of HR activities and initiatives to the business. Ensuring our HR systems are delivering improved ways of working and efficient processes. Job Purpose To provide a high-quality administrative, system and reporting HR service to the HR Team and AML employees. Key duties and responsibilities Respond to and support employees through queries in person and via email and tickets Administer employee lifecycle changes (from hire to retire) e.g. probation, benefits, development Create Contractor/Purchased Service records Recognition Programme administration Administer onboarding and off boarding process e.g. support inductions, new starter paperwork Reference Requests (inbound & outbound) Regular reporting Employee correspondence Absence Management administration Development process administration Leaver checklist co-ordination Concur account creation and updates HR Policy review administration Special Events Car admin Process invoices Experience and qualifications Essential HR/Administration Background Knowledge of HR Systems and employee administration Sound IT literacy in MS Office Tools Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Preferred experience Supporting recruitment, induction and onboarding programmes Knowledge of ERP systems Supporting HR projects Preferred education/ qualifications CIPD level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice or equivalent experience. Required skills/ behaviours The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and strong organisational skills which will enable them to manage a wide variety of administrative activities. They will also be able to operate using their own initiative prioritising activities appropriately.
