Our client, a leading player in the retail sector, is currently seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and building advanced applications for the iOS platform
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
* Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
* Bug fixing and improving application performance
* Continuously discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies to maximise development efficiency
* Ensuring the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
* Maintaining code quality, organisation, and automation
* Providing technical support and expertise through the application development lifecycle
Job Requirements:
* Experience in iOS development
* Proficiency with Swift and Objective-C
* Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation etc.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
* Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
* Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
* Experience with performance and memory tuning
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
