Sales Executive - Commercial Insurance
Location: Chelmsford, Essex (Full-time, on-site)
Salary: Competitive + bonus & commission
About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven Sales Executive to join a growing commercial insurance team. You’ll focus on building relationships, developing your client base, and driving new business, while supporting renewals and providing excellent service. This role blends client-facing engagement with business development, offering variety, challenge, and clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and grow a portfolio of commercial clients through networking, referrals, and lead generation
* Manage client renewals, mid-term adjustments, and documentation
* Collaborate with broking, claims, and finance teams to deliver seamless client service
* Attend networking events and support marketing campaigns
* Stay up to date with market trends, products, and insurer appetite
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in commercial insurance (broking or underwriting)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated and target-driven
* Team player who enjoys collaborating across departments
* CII qualification desirable but not essential
