This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone looking to develop a career in IT Sales. As a Sales Executive, you will work within the Mimecast vendor team to support the development of the vendor relationship with Mimecast. You will liaise with our partners to promote and increase sales of the Mimecast offering, and provide sales and administration support to an aligned Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities of the Sales Executive include:
* Building strong internal and external relationships to facilitate smooth transactions for customers and vendors
* Achieving all financial and performance-related KPIs
* Providing accurate quotes ensuring first-time correctness
* Communicating effectively via telephone and email to add value to the vendor and partner
* Resolving issues promptly and efficiently
* Upselling and developing a good knowledge of the vendor and their products
* Maximizing opportunities and adopting a proactive sales approach
* Reporting on progress, concerns, and successes
* Keeping customers updated on quotes and orders
* Driving attendance to Exclusive Networks and partner events/webinars
* Maintaining up-to-date records in NetSuite and other relevant documents
