About the Role
Salford City College Group is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Centre Catering Manager to lead the catering provision at one of our college sites, with cross‑site support when required. This is a great opportunity for a motivated catering professional to manage high‑quality hospitality services for students, staff and external customers. The successful candidate will oversee day‑to‑day catering operations, ensuring food quality, presentation and service meet the high standards expected across the College.
Key responsibilities include managing catering staff, supporting budget management, stock control, hospitality for internal and external events, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety, Health and Safety, HACCP and hygiene legislation. The role requires a confident leader with strong organisational, communication and customer service skills, capable of motivating teams, managing busy service demands and promoting a flexible “can do” approach.
