As a Quality Manager at Terex, based in Farlough, you will be a key member of the Farlough site management team. The role involves ensuring customer quality standards are met, liaising with internal and external customers to deliver high customer satisfaction, and maintaining high quality standards in a lean environment.
What you’ll do
* Develop and implement the quality management strategy in line with business standards.
* Develop and maintain systems to establish standards related to activities and products.
* Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
* Monitor performance according to standards and take necessary actions to communicate, advise, or assist based on performance levels.
* Establish and implement communication strategies for quality improvement and awareness across all departments.
* Report on changes in standards and performance against standards.
* Contribute to creating and driving the Total Quality Management (TQM) culture.
* Lead the Quality Councils on site.
* Manage department performance through appraisal and review.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers as necessary.
What you’ll bring
* Extensive experience and knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
* Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering.
* Experience in manufacturing environments.
* Proven track record of people management.
* Leadership skills in strategic and quality management within a global manufacturing organization.
* Ability to interpret system reports and Key Performance Indicators.
* Experience working with suppliers to improve quality levels.
