Randstad UK CPE team is seeking an experienced and highly competent Site Manager to cover our prestigious new:build residential development ( 2, 3, and 4 bedroom homes) in Taunton, Somerset.

* Start Date: 10th November
* Pay: GBP250.00 : GBP290.00 Day Rate on CIS
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day:to:day on:site operations, ensuring the project maintains its scheduled progress, adheres to the highest quality standards, and, most importantly, operates within strict health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
* As the temporary Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the site.
* Maintain and enforce a strict Health and Safety culture on site.
* Conduct daily briefings, site inductions, tool:box talks, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
* Oversee and manage sub:contractors and direct labour to ensure the construction programme is met and to mitigate any potential delays.
* Conduct regular quality inspections, manage the snagging process, and ensure all work is completed to the Lovells quality standards and NHBC requirements.
* Oversee all on:site logistics, including material deliveries, plant, and site security.
* Act as the main point of contact for the Project/Contracts Manager, sub:contractors, and any other external parties.
* Maintain accurate daily site diaries and progress reports.
Requirements and Experience
* Essential Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically on new:build residential housing developments.
* Valid SMSTS,CSCS Card (ideally Black Card) and First Aid at Work Certification.
* Strong working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem:solving skills.
