As a Café Cook, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for our visitors. Whether it's serving up deliciously prepared meals, fresh snacks, barista coffee, or keeping our cafés clean and inviting, you'll be the friendly face that helps make their day. You will also be responsible for preparing fresh buffets for our room hires, along with delivering a hearty early morning breakfast and cooking fresh evening meals for our fishing competitions. As Rutland Water is operational 7 days a week, 52 weeks per year (excluding Christmas Day), you will need to be flexible to work across peak seasons, major events within the calendar and step in to help across multiple cafes where needed. Your responsibilities will include: The preparation of food and ensuring quality standards are met Maintaining high levels of hygiene, food safety, and compliance Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs Driving efficiency and enhancing the overall customer experience Friendly and enthusiastic individuals who love working with people.
