An established engineering department is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll play a key role in supporting regulatory processes and ensuring smooth operations.

Your new role

As Office Administrator, you will oversee the Consent to Supply procedure and other regulatory tasks. You’ll provide colleagues and customers with updates when trailers are released from production, with full training provided.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Applying for Ministry IDs for trailers on a weekly basis
2. Managing DVSA applications for trailers that have passed Quality Control
3. Maintaining and updating the DVSA application database
4. Following up on outstanding applications promptly
5. Ensuringpliance withpany procedures and type approval policy
6. Handling consent to supply documentation for customers
7. Managing phone calls, emails, and assisting colleagues as needed
8. Tracking and ordering office supplies
9. Applying and booking IVA tests
10. Providing drawings and DXFs to suppliers
11. Assisting with Quality Assurance checks
12. Managing continual improvement tasks and databases
13. Carrying out ad hoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

14. Strong organisational and administrative skills
15. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
16. Goodmunication skills for liaising with colleagues and customers
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
19. Previous experience in an administrative role in an engineering or vehicle sales environment
