What You'll Be Doing
As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll report to the Developer Team Lead and Head of Operations, working on exciting ERP development projects using Python and PostgreSQL.
You’ll be:
* Developing and customising ERP applications to meet business requirements.
* Collaborating with functional consultants to design software solutions.
* Writing clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
* Involved in debugging, testing, and fixing existing implementations.
* Taking part in client interactions when technical support is needed.
* Participating in project planning and regular update sessions.
* Supporting QA efforts through development testing.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Qualities:
* Experience or strong knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL.
* Basic understanding of version control (Git preferred).
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
* A team player with good organisational skills.
This "Nice to Have" would set you apart:
* Awareness of ERP systems and software development methodologies.
Education & Eligibility
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field (required).
* You must be eligible to work in the UK – this role does not offer sponsorship.
Location & Work Pattern
* Based at our Head Office in Kirkham, Lancashire (Preston area).
* 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* On-site only for the first 12 months—this helps support your early growth and mentorship.
