Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next challenge in the heavy civils sector? We're recruiting on behalf of a respected tier one civil engineering contractor, for a Site Manager on a major infrastructure project in the Dudley area.
About the Role:
As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of site operations on a large-scale heavy civils project. You'll ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile scheme with long-term prospects and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site operations including planning, coordination, and supervision of works
Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery
Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures
Work closely with project management and engineering teams
Report progress, manage resources, and resolve site issues as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager within heavy civils (e.g. earthworks, drainage, structures)
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A solid understanding of HSE regulations and quality standards
