If you enjoy working in a kitchen, supervising others, and providing wholesome meals, this could be the perfect opportunity. ? About the Role: You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, including: Preparing, cooking, and serving meals according to set menus and portion guidelines Ordering supplies and managing stock levels Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are met Supervising kitchen staff and providing on-the-job training Preparing packed lunches for off-site activities Maintaining records and completing admin tasks using basic ICT systems ? Were Looking For: Essential Experience & Skills: Previous catering experience, ideally in a similar setting Experience supervising or managing staff Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety legislation Ability to work flexibly and reliably as part of a team Basic administrative and ICT skills Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety Certificate NQF Level 2 (e.g. GCSEs 49, NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds 7061/7062) OR equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience If youre passionate about good food, safe kitchens, and working as part of a positive team, wed love to hear from you.
