You will be skilled at delivering customer satisfaction through improved product quality and be capable of investigating non-conformance to generate process change to drive performance and reduce waste and low quality output.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for driving improvements in product quality and service levels to deliver excellent standards of customer care, with regular feedback for continuous improvement.
* Lead the introduction of best practice quality techniques at the shop-floor level such as standard work, quality alerts and mistake proofing. Achieve reductions in quality defects, damages and process errors for an overall reduction in the cost of poor quality.
* Responsible for effective and timely response to any customer concerns raised.
* Provide visible leadership in Quality standards, behaviours and systems of work.
* Responsible for effective Quality policies and systems for improved performance.
* Promote a positive Quality culture with engagement, training and regular audits.
* Lead Quality management reviews and drive improved standards.
* Responsible for measurement and testing of products for quality verification, together with adopting technology such as CMM systems for improving accuracy and repeatability.
* Lead introduction of best practice quality improvements using PDCA problem solving and CI techniques.
* Maintain excellent standards of Quality CI application, communication, personal discipline, time management, problem solving, continuous improvement and employee engagement.
* Maintain focused Quality KPIs to monitor improvements, promote new ideas and CI learning.
* Support and ensure full compliance with internal and external Quality audits.
* Ensure full compliance with Quality standards and industry regulations, including ISO 9001.
* Responsible for driving improved Quality CI standards with suppliers.
* Responsible for quality documentation, process capability studies, auditing and maintaining equipment calibrations.
* Ensure any other duties as required to support the quality function in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in delivering and developing ISO 9001 in a production environment.
* Skilled at investigating non-conformances to generate process changes that drive performance and reduce waste and low quality output.
* Ability to implement best practice quality techniques at shop-floor level (e.g., standard work, quality alerts, mistake proofing).
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage employees and drive continuous improvement.
