We are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor to join their team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of key civil engineering projects, with a competitive salary and long-term career progression on offer.
The Role
* Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget.
* Oversee subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
* Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial teams to deliver schemes effectively.
* Drive health & safety standards on site, carrying out inspections and ensuring compliance.
* Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, clients, and the supply chain.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering (groundworks, drainage, roads, or utilities).
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential).
* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high standards under pressure.
Package
* Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
