Our Office Dynamic, HR and Cultural Expectations While SportPursuit operates with a largely remote team, we are seeking a dedicated Office Champion to support the colleagues who choose to work from our London hub and to actively promote our culture. Minimum In-Office Attendance: This role requires a minimum of three (3) days per week working from our awesome London office. This consistency is essential to ensure a vibrant and functional environment for those coming in. You should note that the office can get busy on social days but equally it may just be you on occasion and so you should be comfortable in both situations. Office Culture Champion: A core expectation of this role is to proactively make the London office the best possible environment for team members who attend. Your presence is key to ensuring those in the office feel supported, engaged, and connected. Leading Social Engagement: You will have the enthusiasm and willingness to organise and participate in company social events to foster camaraderie and connection across the business. Managing HR Requests: Keeping on top of HR requests that come in from the team and wider business. Key Responsibilities in this Role As our Office & HR Administrator, you will be reporting to the Head of People & Culture and will be responsible for the smooth running of our London office as well as our core HR administration. Office Administration & Culture Create a fun, friendly, and safe environment for those wanting to come into the office. This will include making sure the office is stocked with some great snacks and helping to organise any office social events SportPursuit may put on. Oversee visitors to the office and ensure a truly personal experience. Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify needs and acquire supplies, manage external and internal relationships, and coordinate deliveries when needed. Manage all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (e.g., additions and/or changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions when requested. Assisting the Social Team in organising and coordinating company events. Responsible for Health and Safety practices around the office. Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events; booking travel; maintaining file systems; mailing and shipping packages; and looking over post and redirecting them to the appropriate person/team. (This is ad hoc, with more required at certain times of the year). Assisting the senior management team and the Executive team where reasonably required. HR Administrator Keeping HR records up to date using our HRIS system, SageHR. Work alongside our HR Manager, assisting in the recruitment process. This includes liaising with hiring managers, posting job ads, screening CVs, coordinating and occasionally conducting interviews, and sending feedback to candidates. Assisting the P&C team with employee lifecycle management. Prepare HR documents such as employee contracts, change of circumstances, leaver letters, and any other required documents. Answer employee queries about any HR-related issues, with the support of your awesome P&C team. Assisting the team with any projects or ad hoc duties as and when required. ✅ To be Successful in this Role, You Must: Have experience working in an administrative support role, providing high-quality and timely work. Experience working in a similar role dealing with office administration Good written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills to deal with individuals at various levels, and on potentially sensitive matters. Have experience in Microsoft Office. Well organised, able to prioritise and work to deadlines. Strong attention to detail. A team player with the ability to work independently. Nice to Have but Not Essential CIPD level 3 or working towards this. But don’t worry, we can also put you through this if you’re keen to learn! An interest in sport and the outdoors The salary range for this role is between £26,500-£28,500 Please note that we currently do not hold a sponsorship license for work in the UK and we will only accept candidates eligible to work in the UK.
