Our NHS client is seeking a proactive and professional HR Officer to join their central HR operations team on a 5-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable NHS HR experience within a large and respected healthcare organisation, supporting managers and staff across a wide range of people-related matters.
In this role, you’ll provide trusted HR advice, coach managers, and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture, while developing your own professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on a variety of employee relations issues, including performance, sickness absence, grievance and disciplinary matters.
2. Support and manage casework, ensuring issues are progressed consistently and in line with policy.
3. Coach and support managers to build their HR knowledge and confidence.
4. Draft correspondence, policies, and meeting notes, ensuring accurate HR records.
