Tasks:
* Design and implement new features in Ceph (RGW, RADOS, RBD, CephFS)
* Optimize storage system performance, scalability, and reliability
* Troubleshoot distributed storage issues and debug low-level system behavior
* Participate in upstream Ceph development and community discussions
* Integrate Ceph with Kubernetes via Rook and CSI drivers
* Monitor and improve system observability using telemetry and metrics
* Plan and execute development tasks using Agile methodologies
* Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and internal knowledge sharing
Must-have:
* Strong proficiency in C++ and Python (5+ years)
* Hands-on experience with Ceph development (any of RGW, RADOS, RBD, CephFS)
* Solid understanding of Linux internals (I/O, memory management, threading)
* Familiarity with Kubernetes, Rook, and Ceph CSI drivers
* Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
* Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or cloud-native environments
* Proficiency with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
