You’ll work closely with the HR Manager to ensure seamless HR operations and support the management team across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and more. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and integrate top talent. Employee Relations: Support a positive workplace culture, handling ER cases, long-term sick leave, OH referrals, and union communications. HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records, manage payroll input, benefits, TMS & HRIS systems. Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with HR legislation and ethical audit standards, assisting in policy updates and line manager support. Diversity & Inclusion: Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion through training and internal comms. Learning & Development: Help identify training needs, manage the LMS, support training delivery, and track ROI. Engagement & Culture: Play a key role in achieving and maintaining accreditations and strengthening employee engagement. What We’re Looking For: CIPD qualified Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role, ideally within an FMCG environment Experience with unions is a plus Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills (Word, Excel) Confident communicator able to build relationships across all levels Organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Benefits Location: Irlam (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days in the office) Hours: 37.5 per week Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Reports to: HR Manager
