Overview
Ventro Group are seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator.
As HR Administrator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR function, helping to ensure we stay compliant with employment legislation and internal policies.
Whether you're updating a policy, onboarding new team members or keeping employee records accurate and up to date, you'll play a big part in creating a great employee experience.
Responsibilities
Administration:
* Maintain accurate HR records in line with GDPR and company policies using HR system.
* Supporting HR manager with HR policies, templates, and processes, ensuring they are kept up to date.
* Recording sickness and holiday records on HR system.
* Responding to HR queries
* Provide administrative support to the HR manager as required.
Onboarding/Offboarding:
* Manage the administrative process for all new hires.
* Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packs.
* Coordinate pre-employment checks (e.g. right to work, references, DBS checks).
* Liaise with IT, Fleet, Facilities and Line Managers to ensure new starters have access to systems and equipment.
* Organise and schedule induction sessions and onboarding meetings.
* Complete new joiner inductions.
* Maintain and update onboarding materials and employee handbooks.
* Make regular improvements to the onboarding process
* Monitor onboarding progress through check-ins and ensure smooth transitions into teams.
Training & Development:
* Maintain and update training records
* Coordinate and book training.
* Assist in monitoring employee training compliance and following up on overdue courses.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an admin or HR support role.
* Friendly and approachable individual, with strong communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Organised individual with time management abilities.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

This is a full-time, office-based position in Plymouth, working Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week). You'll report directly to the HR Manager and work as part of a supportive team.
