Sales Executive - £24k + £20k on-target commission (uncapped), Chelmsford, full-time office based
My client is an award-winning defence company based in Chelmsford. They have grown to become one of the leading providers of intelligence, insight, and debate serving the global defence community. We are looking for a Sales Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify new lead sources and undertake your own research to discover prospective clients.
2. Contact new prospects via telephone, email, and social media to understand their conditions/criteria for participating in events.
3. Sell delegate participation packages for the events in your portfolio.
4. Participate in regular team training and 1-to-1 coaching sessions.
5. Maintain accurate reporting documents and report regularly to management.
6. Work closely with sponsorship, exhibition sales, guesting, and conference production teams to maximise opportunities.
7. Utilise internal CRM and lead generation systems to optimise performance.
8. Liaise with the conference production team to stay updated on each event and programme.
Knowledge & Experience:
* Interest in the armed services and defence sector.
* Enjoy managing your own prospect 'book' while working as part of a results-driven team.
* Willingness to travel, attend conferences, social events, and meetings.
