Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Experience is not essential as we are looking to train someone up into the role. Duties will include cooking and plating dishes to menu specifications, fryer and grill use as well as preparing vegetables and salad, along with general kitchen duties. Initial contract for 15-25 hours, however this could increase as we get into our busy season.
Responsibilities
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
* Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor food presentation and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet established standards.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and production.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and collaboration.
* A passion for cooking, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
