Job Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Food Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new products, improving existing recipes, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining our high standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and scale new recipes for products such as samosas, spring rolls, kebabs, and ready meals.
* Work closely with production to implement new formulations and optimize manufacturing processes.
* Improve existing recipes to enhance taste, texture, shelf life, and nutritional profile.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.).
* Conduct shelf-life studies, sensory evaluation, and product trials.
* Collaborate with procurement to source high-quality, cost-effective ingredients.
* Prepare product specifications, labeling, and technical documentation.
* Support client-specific customizations and R&D requirements.
* Monitor market trends to innovate and maintain a competitive product range.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
* Experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and quality control.
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Passion for culinary innovation and maintaining high product standards.
