Outline of role
With assistance from the Project Manager, ensure that, from concept to completion, the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed.
Main responsibilities
* Ensure the Sigma PRIDE values are followed
* Ability to deliver through a team making sure they are driving for the best results
* Providing leadership for site staff
* For the adherence to the plan, specification and programme of works
* Review and Implement RAMS
* Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality documents
* Sign Employees timesheets and subcontractors onsite to ensure effective cost tracing
* Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed
* Identify causes of nonconformance on site, instigate action to control and prevent re-occurrence
* Liaise on a dayto-day basis with client and / or their representatives to resolve immediate issues, ensuring their needs are achieved and maintaining a professional approach
* To check maintain and ensure good standards of work and with clean working areas throughout site.
* Any variations or extra works are recorded in detail and discussed with PM and QS
Qualifications
* Full UK Clean Driving Licence
* SMSTS
* 3 Day First Aid Course
* UKATA Asbestos Awareness
* Fire Marshall
* CSCS Black Card
* NVQ Level 5/6
