We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman / Property Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks across a portfolio of residential properties. This includes responding to issues reported by tenants and completing a variety of works quickly and to a high standard.
The role requires proficiency in general property maintenance, including painting and decorating, minor plumbing and electrical work, and basic carpentry. Experience in appliance repair is preferred, as is the ability to install and replace door locks, including carving and adjusting doors where necessary. The ideal candidate should also be confident in building partition walls and performing decorative touch-ups, patch repairs, and general fix-ups as needed.
You’ll need to be resourceful, efficient, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and excellent time management are essential. The ability to communicate effectively with tenants and the office team is also important. A full UK driving licence and your own tools are preferred, though company equipment may be provided depending on experience.
