Overview

Adecco are recruiting for a part time Human Resources Administrator to join South Gloucestershire Council. You would support the ongoing employment relationship from starter through to leaver, including all human resources (HR) and payroll transactions.


Details

* £13.90 per hour
* Part Time, 22.2 hours per week
* Monday - Friday
* Predominately working from home, with an expectation of working one day per week, in the offices at Badminton Road. (As well as sometime with the induction and collection of ICT equipment. Therefore, to be within an hour\'s distance of the office)
* Temporary until March 2026


Responsibilities

* Supporting with the due diligence and documentation for starters, leavers and contract variations, ensuring they are issued in line with procedures and processing employee transactions using computerised systems.
* Processing all payroll and employee lifecycle transactions accurately and efficiently on our payroll system, ensuring payroll deadlines are met, such as acting up payments, honorariums and grade and hour changes.
* Issuing employment contracts for all new starters using our computerised recruitment system (iCIMS), and supporting the leaver process through our HR system (D365).
* Daily, monitoring and actioning emails in our generic inbox.
* Providing support, guidance and resolving customer queries around our policies and procedures.
* Supporting the delivery of specialist processes and procedures, ensuring customers receive an effective, functioning service.


What we need from you

* NVQ level 2 qualification in HR, business administration or customer services, or an equivalent, relevant qualification.
* Experience of working in an HR or lifecycle administration role, where you have followed processes and procedures and understand the interface between HR, customers and payroll functions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus in approach to process and issue resolution.
* Proficiency in the use of HR and Payroll systems, and other Microsoft software, e.g. Excel.
* Ability to provide accurate, error-free work with good attention to detail.
