Kingsway Infant School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible, and highly motivated person who can carry out minor day to day repairs and maintenance and appropriate health & safety checks. As a key holder the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents. The successful candidate will enjoy working within a friendly and co-operative team and will respect the need for confidentiality that exists when working within a school environment. Currently, the hours are 6am - 9am, Monday to Friday and so the candidate would ideally reside locally. There may be some requirement to work during school holidays. Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including enhanced DBS checks with the disclosure and barring service.
