Job Summary
Based within the Estates and Facilities Directorate and more specifically within Hotel Services, the Facilities Site Manager role is an operational role responsible for monitoring all site management arrangements on all sites within the post holder’s area of responsibility. The post holder will be based at Foss Park Hospital overseeing the York, Scarborough, Middlesbrough, and Hartlepool area and will be required to work shifts that include late shifts for monitoring purposes.
The role demands a passion for patient care, the ability to lead a multi‑professional team, think on the spot, and be empathetic. The manager should create a culture of continuous improvement and be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible.
Responsibilities
The post holder is responsible for managing a Hotel Services team that includes supervisors, housekeepers, domestics, porter/housekeepers, catering, and reception staff. The manager needs to demonstrate that the services are being delivered effectively in line with legislation, National and Trust policies, customer requirements, and hospitality‑assured standards.

Essential Qualifications
