This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a well-resourced environment with enthusiastic students and supportive colleagues.\n\nFood Technology ECT required from September 2025\nModern kitchens and specialist equipment\nSupportive DT department and experienced mentors\n\nThe Role\nYou will deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love of cooking, nutrition, and food science. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to after-school cookery clubs and curriculum development initiatives.\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\n * \n\n A degree in Food, Nutrition, or a related field and QTS (or working towards it by July 2025)\n\n * \n\n A practical, hands-on approach to teaching with strong subject knowledge\n\n * \n\n The ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment\n\n * \n\n Enthusiasm for enrichment activities and collaborative planning\n\nSchool Information\nThe school is known for its inclusive ethos, creativity in teaching, and excellent support for new teachers.
