The Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer Generalist to join our Technical Delivery team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering technical solutions, working across multiple programming languages and frameworks to meet diverse client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
3. Debug and resolve technical issues across various programming languages and platforms.
4. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategies.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
6. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and tools.
Essential Skills and Experience:
8. Proven experience as a senior software developer or similar role.
9. Expertise in multiple programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Go, and TypeScript.
10. Proficiency with front-end and back-end development frameworks.
11. Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
12. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
14. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable Skills:
15. Experience with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
16. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
17. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
18. Exposure to security standards and practices for secure coding.
