Main Responsibilities Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in the recovery area, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans. Team Support: Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff and students within the clinical setting. Operational Leadership: Oversee the smooth operation of recovery rooms, both alongside and in the absence of Senior Recovery Nurses. Patient Safety: Uphold high standards of safety for patients, colleagues, and visitors in accordance with Health and Safety legislation. Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Trust and departmental policies and procedures. Medication Management: Safely manage, administer, and monitor medication in line with Trust and NMC guidelines. Person Specification Essential Criteria: NMC-registered Nurse (valid and current). Previous experience in an acute care setting. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development. Desirable Criteria: Experience in post-anaesthetic or recovery care. Knowledge of theatre and anaesthetic practices.
