Key Responsibilities:
This is a temporary AO post with the Historic Environment Division. The post will cover a range of administration duties, working as part of a team, and providing support to HED staff specifically with a team who maintains, promotes and augments the Historic Environment Record of Northern Ireland (HERoNI)
Main duties and tasks include:
-Assisting Curatorial staff to catalogue, rehouse, label and maintain HERoNI paper and photographic collections
-Re-boxing and auditing business files
-Retrieving collection material to make it accessible for staff/ public
-Assisting with general duties related to the conservation and maintenance of HERoNI material including the relocation of HERoNI to new premises within the Belfast area.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
1. 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)
2. Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
3. Excellent communication skills.
