Site Manager
Location: Aldermaston (Minimum 3-4 days on-site per week required)
Hours: 9-day fortnight pattern (Mon-Fri alternating weeks)

About the Role
We're looking for a Site Manager to join our Project & Programme Services team, contributing to some of the UK's most significant and regulated infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a high-hazard, highly-regulated environment such as nuclear or similar sectors.
You'll be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, coordinating sub-contractors, and ensuring all work is executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside package and logistics managers, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal project procedures
2. Support the development and monitoring of key milestones and activity plans
3. Report on progress for daily logs and monthly project reports
4. Oversee cost control and ensure work proceeds to programme and quality requirements
5. Identify and proactively manage risks associated with the work package
6. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, sub-contractors, and facility teams
7. Manage document distribution and tracking via CDMS
8. Ensure current construction documentation is available to all relevant parties
Requirements
9. HND (or equivalent) in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
10. Membership of a recognised construction-related professional body
11. Training in Risk Assessment and Health & Safety Management of Subcontractors
12. A1 Assessor certification (desirable)
13. Proven experience working in nuclear licensed sites or similarly regulated high-hazard environments
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
15. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
Working Pattern
You will work a 9-day fortnight with alternating schedules:
16. Week 1: Mon-Thurs (8.25 hrs/day), Fri (8 hrs)
17. Week 2: Mon-Thurs (8.25 hrs/day), Fri off
