Meridian Business Support are recruiting for an experienced Recruiter who enjoys the service side of recruitment, managing clients and candidates and filling vacancies. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Salary on offer is approximately £28-30,000 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience) plus Uncapped Commission, Car Allowance, Laptop, Phone and Fantastic Benefits.
As a Recruiter in our Chester office you will report into the Branch Manager with the following responsibilities:
* Source candidates to place into temporary assignments throughout Chester and the surrounding areas
* Answer all branch enquiries via email/ phone from both clients and candidates
* Complete payroll weekly for 70+ temporary workers within the branch
* Write engaging job adverts and post on our job board web platform
* Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and candidates, gaining and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
* Keep all records up to date in the CRM system
* Complete all telephone screens and face to face/ WhatsApp video registrations with candidates ensuring they are suitable for the job role
* Speak with clients daily, and visit their premises on a regular basis so your own transport is essential
* Negotiate terms with candidates and clients
* Support with any other ad hoc duties within the team as required
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
* At least 2 years experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Permanent Consultant or Internal Recruiter
* Demonstrable success in recruiting for industrial roles (warehouse, logistics, production etc) ideally
* Proven track record in building long lasting relationships
* Confident in providing excellent service levels to customers
* Ambitious and driven to exceed targets
* Must be a great team player with a whatever it takes attitude
* Driving License essential with your own car
