Caterplus - More Than a Meal, It's a Community
At Caterplus, we don't just serve food - we create warm, welcoming spaces where the over-55 community can connect, share, and enjoy great company over delicious meals. Every dish is made with care, fresh ingredients, and a big helping of heart.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on full-time Catering Manager to lead a busy catering and hospitality operation in the High Wycombe area.
What you'll be doing...
You will take responsibility for the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the catering operation, ensuring every customer receives a warm, professional and consistent experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, motivating and supporting the catering team
Maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service
Supporting hospitality functions, events and special services
Managing rotas, labour control and stock ordering

Creating a welcoming, professional and customer-focused environment
Supporting kitchen or front of house operations when required
Ensuring service runs efficiently during both planned and peak periods
Create a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
No two days are the same. Some will be planned and structured, while others will require flexibility, calm leadership and a willingness to step in wherever needed - whether that's supporting the kitchen, assisting front of house, helping with hospitality events or guiding the team through a busy service.
What can you bring? Previous management experience within hospitality, catering or a similar environment
Strong leadership and organisational skills
A good understanding of food safety, compliance and due diligence
Experience supporting functions, events or hospitality services
The ability to coach, motivate and develop a team
Clear communication skills and a calm approach under pressure
A flexible, proactive and hands-on management style
A genuine passion for service, quality and customer experience
This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible, involved and operationally present - a manager who leads from the front, keeps standards high and helps create a warm and professional hospitality experience.

A supportive and collaborative working environment
The chance to make a real impact within a service-focused catering operation
