To support the Cook Manager on a day-to-day basis and, in their absence, be responsible for the management of catering services at Acorn Park School. Maintain high standards of practice and hygiene in food preparation, contributing to the quality of care for each student.
General Responsibilities:
* Help prepare and cook main, vegetarian, desserts, cakes, salads, and various diets from scratch for two refectories on a rota system.
* Complete food, snack, cooking, and picnic orders.
* Check off and put away deliveries.
* Serve food, wash up, and clean down each refectory.
* Perform cleaning tasks daily, weekly, and monthly.

You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, as part of the 4DWW trial, subject to probation and not a contractual benefit.
