Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Northern Regional HR Manager to join us on the Heineken Contract. You will provide both strategic and operational HR support to our Leadership Teams across several sites within the North, working alongside a great HR team, and supporting the design and delivery of a consistent framework for people‑related activities within the Heineken Contract and the wider business. Travel to other sites within your area of responsibility is required.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with some flexibility on start and end times to accommodate logistics needs.

Salary up to £55,000.00. 25‑day annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
* Build and drive the HR People plan to support the overall business plan and employee relations agenda.
* Act as a confidant, influencer, and enabler for our Leadership Teams, enabling calculated, evidence‑based, commercially focused people decisions.
* Oversee all people processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
* Manage time effectively to ensure the right focus and timing, including regular travel to stakeholders.
* Ensure the HR team delivers effective consultancy and advisory services to operational teams, acting as key mentor, coach, and escalation point.
* Facilitate harmonious employee relations with site teams and Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency.
What you need to succeed at GXO
* Desirable CIPD Level 5 qualification.
* Background leading an HR team across multiple locations in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
* Experience dealing with trade unions and collective agreements.
* Excellent people‑management skills with ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.
* Proven track record in change management and cultural development.
