A large, well-regarded secondary school in Cannock is seeking an organised and confident HR Administrator to join its central operations team from January 2026. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, professionalism and discretion.

The Role

Working as part of a friendly HR and admin hub, you will support the full employee lifecycle, including:

* Coordinating recruitment: adverts, applications, shortlisting packs
* Processing DBS checks, references and pre-employment vetting
* Maintaining accurate HR files and digital records
* Supporting staff induction and probation reviews
* Managing absence tracking and preparing reports
* Responding to HR queries with professionalism and confidentiality

About the School

This large 11–18 school has a stable leadership team and a very supportive admin culture. The HR office sits at the centre of the school’s operations with modern IT systems, a welcoming team and clear processes already in place.
