Job Description:
Are you passionate about driving innovation in financial systems and applications? Do you have experience with Debt Manager and a strong technical skillset in strategy, workflow, and interface development? This is your opportunity to play a key role in transforming Collections and Recoveries systems for a major financial institution.
We’re looking for a Debt Manager Application Specialist to support an exciting upgrade to a cloud-hosted version of the Debt Manager platform. You’ll work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to design, build, and support high-quality solutions that make a real difference in customer outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
* Designing, developing, and implementing Debt Manager strategies, workflows, and interfaces.
* Collaborating with internal tech teams and third-party vendors to build end-to-end solutions.
* Providing day-to-day application support to business users and defining business requirements.
* Ensuring the delivered solution meets both technical and functional expectations.
* Troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating application issues as needed.
* Supporting project planning by estimating effort and managing risks and scope.
* Staying current with best practices and innovations in the tech and collections space.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience designing and configuring Debt Manager (strategies, user interface – FitAgent and Classic, and decision engine – FitLogic).
* Proficiency in PostgreSQL and a solid understanding of relational databases.
* Experience building and supporting data import/export routines using proprietary tools.
* Working knowledge of AWS Cloud concepts.
* Track record of delivering projects across iterative and waterfall methodologies.
* A self-starter with ownership mentality and great communication skills.
