Site Manager – Commercial & Housing Projects
Wiltshire (Regional Sites – South West)
Full-time | Permanent | £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
A well-established regional main contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to lead and deliver a range of commercial refurbishment, housing and mixed-use projects up to £3.5m in value. With a varied workload across Wiltshire and the wider South West, this role is ideal for a hands-on manager from a trade or site background who thrives on delivering high-quality builds in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Site Manager you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of allocated projects, including:

Managing daily site operations and delivery of projects up to circa £3.5m
*
Supervising subcontractors and site teams to maintain programme, quality and safety standards
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures
*
Liaising with project management, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver milestones
*
Maintaining excellent client and stakeholder relationships on site
*
Reporting progress, quality and H&S performance to the project team
*
Ensuring that programmes, handovers and snagging are completed successfully
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main contracting environment
*
Background preferably from a trade or hands-on construction path
*
Experience delivering commercial refurbishments, housing or similar builds
*
Strong understanding of site safety, programmes, quality and subcontractor management
*
Good communicator with strong organisational skills
*
Full UK driving licence
