What can you expect in this role?
* Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and guidance to build robust health and safety capability across all departments of the site.
* Keep the site consistently compliant with UK health and safety regulations.
* Actively connect with employees at every level to foster a strong, proactive health and safety culture.
* Oversee regular audits and inspections to evaluate health and safety performance, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
* Work closely with contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies to strengthen compliance and maintain high health and safety standards on-site.

What We're Looking For:
* Proven background in a role where managing and leading audits, inspections, and certifications was commonplace.
* Significant experience in health and safety roles within challenging industries, particularly manufacturing.
* Effective at influencing stakeholders at all levels and crafting high-quality presentations to communicate key messages.
* Independent, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
