Lecturer – Sport
Full Time | 37 hours per week
Salary: £28,500 – £34,500 per annum

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching to students studying sport-related Further Education programmes
Act as a course tutor for groups of students, providing academic and pastoral support
Monitor attendance, progress, and achievement while maintaining accurate student records
Support students with career development and work placement opportunities
Contribute to curriculum development to ensure courses meet industry demands
Participate in internal verification and quality assurance processes
Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion across all teaching activities
Represent the college at recruitment events such as open days and careers fairs
What We’re Looking For
Experience teaching or training within sport, fitness, or a related discipline
A relevant qualification in sport or sport studies
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Strong organisational and communication skills
A genuine commitment to supporting students and improving outcomes
