*About the Role*
We are building a next-generation 3D environment review and annotation platform that enables artists, designers, and clients to collaborate directly inside their preferred 3D tools. We’re looking for a skilled developer with experience creating plugins for Unreal Engine, Blender, and other DCC applications such as Maya, Houdini, or Nuke.
You will architect, develop, and maintain integrations that allow our platform to connect seamlessly with leading content-creation tools, streamlining the review workflow for artists and studios.
*Responsibilities*
* Design and develop plugins/add-ons for Unreal, Blender, and additional DCC tools.
* Implement features such as scene sync, annotation display, camera navigation, and asset metadata exchange.
* Build stable communication layers between the plugin and our platform backend.
* Optimize performance for large scenes and real-time environments.
* Collaborate with product, backend, and UX teams to align plugin features with user workflows.
* Maintain documentation, versioning, and deployment pipelines for plugin releases.
* Troubleshoot issues across different OS and DCC versions.
*Required Skills*
* Experience developing plugins for Unreal Engine (C++), Blender (Python), and/or other DCC.
* Strong understanding of at least one major DCC platform beyond these (Maya, Houdini, etc.).
* Proficiency in C++, Python, and common plugin SDKs/APIs.
* Experience integrating tools with external web services or cloud platforms.
* Understanding of 3D pipelines: meshes, materials, cameras, scene graphs, etc.
* Familiarity with real-time/viewport performance considerations.
*Nice to Have*
* Background in 3D visualization, VFX, or game development.
* UI/UX experience inside tool viewports.
* Knowledge of WebRTC, real-time collaboration tech, or custom DCC pipelines.
*What We Offer*
* Opportunity to shape a new collaborative 3D ecosystem.
* Work directly with technical founders and top artists/designers.
* Flexible schedule, remote-friendly environment.
* Be part of a small, expert team where your work has real impact.
