The Role:
Supporting the Head of SHEQ in managing quality, safety, health, wellbeing, and environmental aspects across our Wisbech and March sites. Responsible for day-to-day management of systems, documents, and processes, and acting as the first point of contact for SHEQ matters.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to train for H&S qualifications
* Ability to train employees and assist with inductions and presentations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organized with a proactive approach and attention to detail
* Full driving license and own transport
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Safety Management Systems, including reviews and updates
* Support audit preparations and ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation
* Conduct safety inductions and training
* Investigate non-driving accidents and report findings
* Support internal audits and maintain documentation for risk assessments and safety procedures
* Promote teamwork and a safety culture within the organization
