The Role…

As the Sales Executive on the Accreditation team you will have the ability to sell all commercial logo initiatives to clients, media agencies & PR agencies, in order to achieve revenue targets, set and agreed by the Commercial Director, Accreditation. You can work with your manager to take a strategic view of your categories of business, ensuring that they are able to represent the Good Housekeeping Institute to all levels of client contacts. You will have strong sales skills and, as part of a high performing sales team, can collaborate with other teams across Hearst Solutions to provide the best customer service.


Main Duties…

1. Report into the Accreditation SLT & working in collaboration with the whole team to hit revenue figures set by the Commercial Director, Accreditation.
2. Manage key categories as agreed with the Commercial Director, Accreditation
3. Drive new & renewal business through key categories, working with all clients within the category
4. Maximising revenue for the Accreditation line
5. Maintaining client relationships through regular meetings, ensuring clients are updated with new opportunities
6. Ensuring category strategies, pipelines and targets are maintained and delivered, in collaboration with the Commercial Director, Accreditation
7. External market understanding around endorsements & competitor sets
8. Market knowledge of trends and key client updates in owned and managed categories
9. Provide excellent levels of customer service
10. Be an expert in Accreditation and how it can benefit your client group

About You…

11. Strong motivation to build a career in sales, with some level of sales experience demonstrating persistence and goal orientation.
12. Collaborative team player, able to contribute positively to group targets and support colleagues to achieve shared outcomes.
13. Keen interest in business development, with developing skills in identifying opportunities and building client relationships.
14. Quick learner with strong communication skills, ready to engage with clients and support negotiations under guidance
15. Able to work independently and take initiative, while staying focused on overall team goals and company targets.
