Overview
Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company (MAC) is recruiting for a MAC HR Officer. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks, with a salary range of £28,598 - £31,022 per annum (Grade 6, SCP 12-17). Start date: ASAP. Based at the Waterfront, Merry Hill, the HR Officer will support the schools and act as the connection between Emmaus Schools and the Central Team.
Putting our children and young people first, the Central Team Services exist to support our 14 Emmaus Catholic MAC schools so that Principals and key staff can focus on high quality teaching and learning in line with our MAC vision: “Transforming Lives: inspiring ambition and empowering young people to change the world.”
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering operational excellence in recruitment, retention, staff wellbeing and HR support for its schools, ensuring compliance with current legal and regulatory requirements.
We are seeking an experienced, proficient HR Officer to strengthen our already excellent central provision and support our schools and central team.
Responsibilities
* Support the schools and act as the connection between Emmaus Schools and the Central Team based at the Waterfront, Merry Hill.
* Deliver operational excellence in recruitment, retention, staff wellbeing and HR support for its schools.
* Ensure compliance with all current legal and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people as part of the role.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience as an HR Officer or equivalent in a school or MAC environment is preferred.
* Proficient in HR practices, employment law and safeguarding procedures.
* Ability to work with Principals and staff to drive improvements in teaching and learning indirectly through strong people processes.
