What you need to know about the role
We are searching for an individual to join the HR team as part of the HR administration service. The successful candidate will be required to understand all relevant HR processes and procedures and deliver an efficient administrative service, much of which will involve the use of our HR system, iTrent. The candidate will have the opportunity to support the development and improvement of core administration processes and activities, as part of our HR Excellence initiative.
Examples of the type of work involved include:
* Processing new starters and leavers and updating colleague employment records as required
* Preparing accurate reports for management
* Administering Employee and Manager Self-Service for colleague ease of use and accuracy
* Effectively communicating with colleagues and management, both in writing and in person
* Managing a central HR Administration inbox and communicating with internal and external stakeholders on all queries raised
* Providing general HR advice relating to company policies and procedures
What we need to know about you
Our administrative positions sit at the heart of our HR team and have a direct impact on the success of the service we provide daily. We are looking for adaptable candidates with a “can-do” attitude and a clear drive for getting a job done well.
It is essential that candidates have experience of working in a similar type of administration role, particularly in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
We are looking for a candidate who enjoys a varied workload that requires both independent and team working and someone who works very well with deadlines.
Excellent communication skills are required – both verbal and written – and candidates must be able to work well with IT systems including the Microsoft Office package. Experience of iTrent would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
